You can contact Jeremy directly using the Contact Us page or ask your GP for a referral.
The time will vary but it shouldn’t be longer than 3 or 4 days (if Jeremy is on leave or on call it will be longer)
Yes, where possible.
You may find it helpful to bring a list of questions to your consultation as it can be difficult to remember everything. Jeremy will ask questions and carry out any necessary examinations. After diagnosis he will explain the next steps.
Of course, our clinic is child-friendly.
An outpatient requires a short consultation and does not stay overnight. A day case tends to be a longer procedure, but the patient should be able to go home on the same day. An inpatient will stay one or more nights in hospital.
There are various methods; you may be able to claim for your treatment on your private medical insurance or you can pay for it yourself.
The hospital will ring you to discuss any instructions. They will usually involve the following:
· Do not eat or drink anything after midnight the day before your procedure
· If you are a smoker try to give up or reduce the amount you smoke before coming in
· If you have a cold or any other illness please inform us immediately
Wear loose fitting and comfortable clothing. Do not wear jewellery, make-up or contact lenses.
We recommend that you bring nightclothes, current medication and toiletries (if you’re an inpatient)
Items that will enhance your comfort, for example photographs of family, magazines and books, and your favourite music etc.
